Remodel

Last Thursday I went out and bought myself a new sewing machine (every time I tried to say sewing machine "snow machine" came out instead,  I will let you speculate on that one.)! It is a Brother 40 Project Runway. It has a lot of user friendly features.
So fare I'm perfectly satisfied.
It sewed Tyler's new scout badges with no problem.
Adele and Emily (her friend) think it is very "cute".
I'm just glad for a machine that does not make me want to pull my hair out whenever I sit down to use it.

Soooooooooo. I needed a project to try out the new sewing machine.

And the old Barbie house of my sisters and mine needed  a update for its early 80's carpet and wall paper.
I haven't done anything with the furniture and may not do anything.
The blue wall may get some little red poca dots. Will see.

My Mom made the curtains in the living room, and decorated the chairs I decided to leave them alone. I  painted and use a foam stamp and antiquing gel on the walls.

I sitll  need to put something on the wall.  Any ideas?

Don't you love the  curtain?. I makes me want to get Barbie in there cooking!

Big Blue Eyes

My sister In-Law Mandy came this past weekend and she took some pictures of Colton. He was so happy, so Mandy got her camera out. She always has it handy. My sister Michelle made this hat for a Christmas present.

Re charged

(this is a comment I put on my friends blog and decided to share it with the rest of you.)
Thursday after cleaning poo of the carpet for the second day in a row several loads of  peed on laundry, and huge mess in every room for the Little Man Tate. I had a melt down. I left Colton sleeping and Tate playing and went for a walk to the "apple tree". When I came back in Tate said "Dad?" he didn't even know I had left. I told him to get his snow clothes on we were going outside to play. It did wonders for my moral. I decided when Tyler got home from school we were going to go to my parents house to get away. It was great visiting with my family, and the kid got to play with there cousins.  I even got to do a sewing project with cute fabric. When I came home cam had been on two snow machining trips. I fill like I can handle life better after having a recharge.

Puppy play

Snow fun

I was playing with Picasa 3 and  saw a icon that said "blog this"  and I wanted to try it.

(Our dog Bud killed a yew and had to find a new home. Cam

was pretty sad because Bud had gotten to be a great cow dog.)

Crea also got a puppy it name is Bandit named by my niece.

Blessing Day

Colton was blessed on Sunday the3rd of January.  Cam gave him a great blessing.  He always does a great job.  My sister Kristin took these two pictures.  My sister in law Mandy and I also took pictures of Colton.  He was a good sport for a month and a half old baby.  He is usually very calm.happy baby.  Some of the things he sleeps through are amazing!  Some days I just want to hold him all day, because he is so cuddle and wants to be held.  Don't get me wrong be both have are good and bad days.

Story of Four Trees

On the 28 th of November we went and got Christmas trees.  The kids all wanted there own.  I'm not sure I agreed with them, but it made them happy.  Adele picked her tree out quick and pulled it to the pickup and loaded it.  She told me she was cold.

Tate made Cam carry him to look for a tree, so it may have been Dad that helped him find one pretty quick.

He then joined Adele, Colton and me in the pickup.

Tyler took much longer deciding on his perfect tree.  When he had

loaded his tree and hopped in the pickup I wondered it any one was going to help Cam find Our Family Tree.

Tyler reluctantly left the heated pickup to help Cam search. 

We did not decorate the trees until a week later.

I wanted to do something different then the same old ribbon I have used the last ten years, so I used some berries and assorted pine picks to decorate the branches.  Tyler was helping me and he said "the berries just make the tree Pop!"

He must have been hanging around his floral designer mom lately.

Colton one week

I tried to post these pictures on Tuesday, but things happen when you have three kids and a week old baby! He is still a sleepy baby, the kids still love him to pieces, and I'm doing good other that my brain functioning very slow from a lack of sleep.
This afternoon I had to send the other three kids out side to play or what ever. To give my self a bit of quit!

He Is Here!

Colton Wayne Williams was born Tuesday November 17 at 12:04 A.M.
He weighed 7lbs 9oz. and is 20 1/2 in. long.
he just woke up this morning, and his eyes are looking every were!
The kids love him to pieces. Tyler said I just can't stop saying, "he is so cute!"
We are both doing great!

Trick or Treat

The kids had more fun Trick-or-Treating this year. Adele did not want to stop even after going to 4 or 5 houses with know one home (we had the adult session of stake conference that night)! Tate sat in the back of the van eating what ever he got at the most resent house. We like go to neighbors houses in the country who don't get to many Trick-or-Treaters. They are happy to see us and they give the kids a handful and we are not out as long before the kid deiced they have had enough.




Adele is the "Tooth Fairy" the other two are pretty easy to guess. The kids and I made teeth out of white clay, and then we baked them in the oven. Tate needed some help when the time was up and they were in the oven longer then they should have been. So the teeth looked like they needed a visit to the dentist. My sister suggested I spray paint them, and they soon returned to there original white selves.

Tate is wearing a bat costume my mother in law made for the youngest boy in there family. It surprised me the first time I saw it because my younger brother had the same costume with he was little. Our Mom's must have shopped the the same fabric stores twenty years ago (could twenty years really be right!!!!)
Tyler costume kept getting more added to it through the week with scouts, carnival and trick or treating. The insulated overalls were to hot for inside.
