First published Story

When we were at the school for the Santa Workshop we went over and read Tyler's story. He was so excited to write he first story. I loved his cute tree. He always says he is not a very good artist, but there is his picture proving other wise. In the other picture Tyler is standing by there school Christmas tree. All the classes made there one ornaments for the tree. They had a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. There is a talent show tomorrow. Tyler is singing two Christmas songs with his class. Also they get to watch a movie and have a Christmas party. The is excited for tomorrow then his Christmas break. He keeps telling me it is 18 days, but I don't believe him.

Santa's Workshop

We went to the Santa Workshop at the school on Saturday. They made a craft with "GLITTER GLUE" (NOT MY FAVORITE STUFF, if you read further in my blog you will know what I'm talking about) I think Adele's glue is still not dry. I put them in the back of the van and forgot about then. They decorated cookies. Adele gave hers to Santa, so they let her make another one. Then they did a coloring page. Tyler colored his them made an airplane out of it. When Tyler wrote his letter to Santa earlier this month he said I would like a surprise. When he visited with Santa Saturday he said he wanted a Wii, a Webkin or a four wheeler, not exactly sure what came over him this month. The kids had fun and I was glad for something to do with them on a Saturday afternoon. We also went to the free movie with our friends. It was Madagascar in to Africa. It was ok. I was glad my kids did not understand all the adult humor.

Christmas Houses

Tyler took this picture of the Pumpkin Bread I made for neighbor. I thought is was a cute picture with the buildings in the background. I have three Christmas houses, One is a greenhouse from my mother in in-law. I used to work at a green house and I took greenhouse classes at Ricks. The other is a Flower Shop. I bought this one because I have a degree in floral management, and have my own wedding flower business in my home. The third building is a wood working shop. Cam mom got is because the Fall before we were married Cam was making picture frames with his friend Dewight and really enjoyed it.

Our Bird House

I was working on some Christmas tag, and went to the computer. When I turned around Tate had lined up all the "Christmas Cardinal" birds and was trying to feed them. Then he suck his tummy out to show the birds he could look like them. It was pretty fun to watch him. Much more interesting then what I was looking at on the computer (no offense I was not looking at anybodies blog), but I seem to give my computer more attention some times.

A Big reason Grace is Amazing

The Kids brought there Santa letters to the Post Office. In a week or so they will get a personal letter back from Santa. This is the third time we have sent letters to Santa. Each time they have gotten a letter asking if they have helped Grandpa feed the cows, and things like that. It is so great to live in a place where the people care so much about each other and are so giving and considerate. Grateful to those people who make my kids feel so important and special!!!!!

Surfer Girl Room

These pictures are of the room I helped my friend do for her six year old girl. My sister cut all the vinyl for the wall and the surf boards. We ran into a few bumps, but I think it turned out really cute. We also painted her sons room and Adele's room. I think it is so fun to design and decorate rooms. So if any of you wants some free advice let me know, and take it for what its worth.
I have plans for my kitchen, but I will decide after Christmas what I want to do.
After Christmas I will post another picture of Adele's room (hint hint).

"Every good deed doesn't go Unpunished"

I had Relief Society Presidency meeting at my house this morning. My nephew Grey was here. The kids were playing in Adele's room while we were discussing visiting teaching (which is a huge project) . Tate was crying and I went in Adele's room and this is what I found. They were squeezing glitter glue on Tate's head!!!!! This was bad enough but the glue was a birthday present for Adele's friend Emily! I told the kids to clean up Adele's room and they were having a time out until lunch time. Then I gave Tate a bath, and I'm still socking the blanket and shirts in the washer. I'm afraid he is going to be a little sparkle for a while. The other two ladies said how calm I was and I told them it was only because they were there. Adele did get a little kick the bum.
The title came from my father in law when he was the bishop he went to help a family move and his pickup got hit twice while he was there.

Dress up Time

It was a month full of dressing up and we still have the carnival tonight and trick or treating tomorrow! Adele went to Pre- school as a Fairy Princess. Last week was red ribbon week at the elementary school they asked the kids to dress as there hero as Tyler dressed up like his Dad. He had me draw a mustache on him. He wore cowboy boot and a button up shirt.

Adele and Emily dress up everytime they they get together. They often times dressed as Rock Stars. This day I believe they are Cowgirl Rock stars going to the barnyard. Adele also started to take dance this month with Emily.

Day Two of Cows and Flowers

I got up early to go with Cam, Crae, Adele,Wade and Cortney Smith to bring the cow the rest of the way home. Carol came to the house to watch Tyler and Tate because they were still sleeping. The cows stay over night in corral. We cross the railroad tracks, a highway, state highway and many houses and obstacles along the way. I really enjoy riding and trailing the cows. When we got home to the river with the cows. I came home and made four corsages, and four boutonnieres. Then delivered all the flowers to the Bancroft church. I was tired that night. We drove to delivered some cows that followed us home that belonged to people in Chesterfield. I kept falling asleep on the way home and Tate would look at me and say "Mom open".

Bring the Cows home

Grant Tate and I got left home when they brought the Cows home on Friday the 17th. I was working on Wedding flowers. (in the picture of the flowers you are looking at three arrangements for the cake, brides bouquet on the left and an arrangement for a table on the right.)I wanted to get as much done as I could, so I could go the second day before I delivered the flowers for the reception in Bancroft.
I'm not sure which one was more sad to be left behind. The Great Grandson or the Great Grandpa on his 88th Birthday.
I love them both dearly.

Tyler, Kaleb Wheeler and Adele rode in the pickup with Wade (Kaleb's Dad). They also rode the horses and walked behind the cows with there whips.

A Sunday afternoon at the Williams'

The kids love to hear a story. Especially if Dad is the one reading to them. I saw Cam reading to the kids and thought it was so sweet looking. I just had to get the camera! Tyler is in the kitchen doing his home work.

Wow what a Month! Cow camp

There are so many pictures from this month I want to post. I'll try not to overwhelm you
The Kids and I drove to Cow Camp to see what was going on, and to see Cam and "Grandpa Crae". On the way there we saw Cam and Crae with with a few cow on their way to camp, so we knew it would not be to long before they got there. What is "Cow Camp"? In the Chesterfield Association is a group of Ranchers who owner range land together. On the Range everyone's cows run together. So for a week everyone who runs cows on the range get together and roundup everyone's cows, and sort them in to different pastures to wait there trip home. They leave so early in the morning and get done late in the evening that Cam and his Dad stay at Cow Camp in a trailer and get feed three meals a day in the house you can see in the background of picture above.
The kids have a great time exploring the "trails" made by the cows in the willow by the stream that runs through camp.
Tyler never wants to go and never wants to leave.
(no joke)

War Dance

Another reason I love Grace.
Is a great 2nd grade teacher. Mr Sotutu
Tyler has been rejuvenated in school. He comes
home happy and wants to tell me the
funny things that happened that day.

Ka mate, ka mate
ka ora, ka ora
Tenei te tangata puhuruhuru
Nana i tiki mai whakawhiti te ra
Upane, upane Upane
keupane Whiti te ra.
Hi!

Today Tyler was a warrior! His second grade teacher Mr. Sotutu was asked to do the "war dance" in the Homecoming assemble. Tyler came home after school chanting and hitting his chest. I wondered what he was doing! I looked in his backpack and it had a permission slip in it asking if I would give my permission for Tyler to perform with the other boys in his class and some of the older boys.

Hope you enjoy the video. Tyler is on the far left. Sorry he is hard to see.

These week I'm helping a friend paint her little girls room. I will post pictures when we are done. It is going to be so cute! The room has a "surfer girl" theme.

This weekend I will be working on wedding flower, and they may be trailing the cows home to!

Week of Visiting

This is the only picture I took on our whole week of visiting family!
On Monday the kids and I went to Blackfoot to my parents house. My Mom and the kids and I did some Geocacheing at the Gravel Pit in Morland. It is actual very pretty with all the tree changing colors. Later we did two more when my Dad got home. The next day Tami (my sister in law) came over, and I did some shopping from her trunk. Then we were off to Rexburg. We went to my sister Michelle's and that is were the kids rode the little four wheeler. Tyler loved driving around the parking lot and on the sidewalks. We did have a couple of accidents, but everyone it OK. We tried to do a few Geochaches, but with no luck there was one by the temple but it was very close to the highway and we did not want to bring five kids by it (plus they were pretty noise for the temple grounds). We tried the park, but we could not find it either.
We went to my brother Shawn that night. Tyler loved playing the Wii. Especially Paper Mario and Wii Fit! He said, " Ha, I'm exercising?"
The next morning we went to Gabe's preschool and had breakfast with him. The kids played for forty five minutes before we left. Even Tyler had a good time. He was not sure about going to Pre school. After that we went back to Blackfoot. Kristin (my sister) was there that day with her kids and we worked on lots of vinyl projects. That evening by brother Kory came over.
We left the next day and came to home to Grace. We I said to the kids lets go get Bud, they said we forgot we had a dog! Cam came home that night to bring a lode of bull home. We were so excited to tell him about our adventures. We went to the range and I will make another post to talk about that. That night my sister Angie came with her kids.
So out of my six brother and sisters I saw five of them!
The kids had a great time playing with there cousins!
There is nothing like an instant friend!

I want to Go!

Cam and his Dad left to go to the Range for roundup this afternoon. Tate first tried to get Grandpa to take him, and when Grandpa left he then started on Dad. He waited by the pickup and reached his hand up and tried to put his hat in the pickup.
With no luck he go left behind again!
He watched the pickups drive down the road, and took off his hat and cried.
With in a few minutes he had gotten over it and went to play with Tyler, Adele and Bud.

Big Red

Tate is really into Hats right know. It does not matter who's they are or if it fits. It only matters if will stay on his head! He wears cowboy hats, bowls, dress up hats, Tyler's hats, His hats, Grandpa's hats. It really does not matter.
Life must just looks better from under a hat.

Camping (?)

We went camping at a Friends camping area. I'm so glad they were willing to share with us. We had a great time. We stayed two night, but it was close to home so we were able to come home for somthings we needed to do. Then go back up there to sleep again.
Me riding the zip line. I was a lot of fun. Every time I thought I was going to go right into this big tree. Then it would stop me and I would swing clear out. I went much faster them the kids. Tate wanted to try so bad so Cam or I put him on the small seat and ran with him. He thought it was great. Tyler and Adele also loved it.
This is a swing that they made for there grand kids to ride. He should Cam how to run it. The first time I rode with Tate and it made me sick t my stomach going around and around (I'm getting sick just thinking about it). Tate had to ride with Tyler or Adele the rest of the time.
Adele waiting for supper of sandwiches from home.
Tyer used the wagon to hall everything to and from the truck. Tate had to go every trip. He loved it. A few times he had to sit on top of things and he did not mind.
