Adele's first day of Pre-school

This is Adele at Miss Melia's pre-school. She is with her good friend Emily Wheeler. They have been friends since they were both babies in Young Women s (with there Mom's)


I asked Adele what she liked about pre-school and
She said,

• I like new friends.
• 
  
• That I can go everyday. (I will have to explain it is only twice a week)

• I colored my shirt myself. (I believe it was a paper shirt)

(I had a better picture of Adele, but I chose the wrong one and I'm not sure how to remove this picture so I guess I will just leave it)

A few months ago we bought the house we have been renting from Cam's grandpa. We have been in limbo for four years wondering what to do, and all this time we have been just so comfortable living here. We wanted to be right were we are. We may not stay in this house to long or we may stay forever. If something else comes up we will look at our options, but I really do love this Old House.
Don't get me wrong the house defiantly has some problems
but,

Its an Old Farm House were the doors always open
and you never need an invitation
to come on in.
(unless of course you are a stranger)

Tyler's First Day

The night before school I cut Tyler's hair it has been growing since the spring. Cam had promised Tyler he would not say anything about how shaggy his hair was getting if he would cut it before school. So at 7:45 P.M. it was all cut off. It has been great to see his eyes again it seems like his attitude has changed also. I'm not sure if it is because he has gone back to school and has a fun teacher, or if his "punk" hair is gone. eather way I enjoy it while it lasts. He is a great kid!
While Tate had his nap yesterday Adele and I played with the Leap Frog letter toys, made cookies, ant trimmed her hair. It was nice to have time with just the two of us.

2nd Grade Student Questionnaire

What are some things that you are really good at?
(Tyler's answer) eating chocolate, riding a bike, singing to myself

What is your favorite subject in school? why?
Art, because I get to do different activities each time.

What is something you really want to learn in 2nd grade?
Science

What king of books, magazines, catalogs, etc. do you like to read? Why?
Train books, I like how they move by. Joke books because sometimes they are really funny.

What do you like to do in your free time? (hobbies, sports, etc)
Ride bikes, play with friends, watch TV, play soccer, kind of like to ride horses.

What are some other things that Mr. Sotutu should know about you?
"I'm a teeny weeny bit shy", I have a little sister and a little brother. My Dad is tall and has a pretty long mustache (no beard). That way you will recognize my Dad when you see him.

Historical Chesterfield Town site

Yesterday we delivered some tires (for water troughs) to the range and drove past the "Town site". Tyler wanted to go there, but Cam had to get to work. So after lunch the kids And I went there. We say Cams 2nd cousin and his wife who are volunteer workers. His wife Carlie gave us a tour. We went to the building the kids wanted to and left when they wanted. The kids loved the old store. Adele got a homemade apron that is so cute, Tate got a wooded care the looks like a model-T. and Tyler got a rubber band gun. We also got two root beers to share. We shared them on the front step of the old store. (I wished I had taken my camera it would have been a very cute picture)

Amazing People

On Friday I helped set a garage sell for my good friends and also stayed most of the next day helping. It was great to see how the community supports one another, and give so freely (with donation and bake sell items, time, and the things they bought and the money they donated.

It is Just another reason why Grace is amazing:

My parents stopped by for a quick visit on there way to my cousins wedding in Georgetown.

It was great to have them in our home.

Then I went back to the garage sell to clean up, most of it had been done by a friend who stopped to help. I'm over whelmed by peoples love for each other!

During all this time with the garage sell the kids came to set up and the helped! and they played with the toys that were for selll and rode bikes and things. The next day Cam and my Mother in Law Carol had the kids. I'm so thankful for a loving family who supports me in the things I do.

Home Style Restaurant

Jenny's kids came over a couple of weeks ago and I wondered what to do about lunch with all of these kids and there picky taste buds (no offense Jenny I mostly mean my own kids)
So Harper and I decided to play restaurant. I told Harper what I was willing to
make and she printed a menu and coloring page for each kid.
All of us ended up

having fun for lunch.

Sweepstakes

I took this picture of Tate and his Grandpa Crae on the Fourth of July. These two have a great bond. When ever Tate hears the tractor he yells "Papa, Papa".

Caribou County Fair

Just another reason Grace is Amazing

I love the small county fair it as all the things that makes the State Fair great just on a smaller scale.

• The food! (my favorite is the peaches/strawberries and cream)
  
• The Carnival
• exhibits (the kids entered cupcakes, and artwork, and reserved blue and red ribbons, I also entered several photos, and got some blue, red, yellow and sweepstakes on a picture of Tate and Crae)
• The Animals
• Free stage (with a hypnotist)
• Parade
  
• Demolition derby
• Things for sell (I bought a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet for a Navajo lady for $20)
  
• Rodeo
• The best part of all it is not to crowded
• The second best part is; it is free to get in, so the kids and I went everyday for Wednesday to Saturday!
  

New Horse

Road Trip to Salmon Idaho, close to 600 miles round trip!

When we got to the Ladies house to pick up the horse the kids notices to animals coming to greet them. One was a nice puppy the other was a Fat Tom Turkey. The kids had a great time screaming and running to the trailer when ever the turkey came around them. I was quite a "watch dog".

The kids were surprisingly good on the long, quick trip.

The horse is two years old and is so tall!!! When it is full grown I will have to use a step latter to reach the stirrups! The height of the horse will be good for Cam. Cam rode her tonight after work and she seems really good for how young she is.
